Here at Simmo's Offroad Tours, every tour is uniquely tailored for you, depending on what is going on in the food and wine circles at the time and your personal interests.  I wouldn't say I am a wine expert, but I am certainly enjoying the path to enlightenment!  I know which wineries we should visit if you have fallen in love with Sauvignon, have a passion for pinot, or would like to taste a Zinfandel for the very first time.

I have a great relationship with the local wineries, orchardists, and local farmers, so I am able to co-ordinate an interesting and memorable Winery and Produce Tour for you - 7 days a week!

SIMMO'S FULL DAY SCENIC WINERY AND PRODUCE TOUR

Full day - approximately 6.5 hours (typically 10am to 4.30pm or so)

Spend the day with me and let me show you the sights of Orange and Mount Canobolas as we visit a selection of commercial and smaller boutique wineries along quiet offroad tracks....

I collect you from your motel or B&B, and we start off the day with a brief tour of the City of Orange, highlighting a few of the heritage-listed buildings, local parks and other city attractions (there's a written test at the end of the day so listen carefully!!)  

We then make our way out of town, and take in the sights of Lake Canobolas surrounded by rolling hills, wineries and fruit orchards.  Sit back and watch the landscape change as we negotiate a bush track up to the pinnacle of Mount Canobolas at 1,395 metres above sea level...

After surveying a lookout or two, we follow another 4WD track back down the mountain and call into the first of our wineries for the day.         

Depending on the season, and what tickles your fancy, we can also stroll around the Farmer's Market, or visit a truffle farm, an apple, cherry, or fig orchard, an olive plantation, or perhaps pop into a traditional apple cider brewery...

Cool drinks and nibblies are provided and I can brew us up a freshly ground coffee or a bush tea somewhere along the trail...  

I am happy to recommend a cafe or restaurant along our way for lunch.  Bookings essential during busy periods so please Contact Me so that I can co-ordinate a fantastic day for you (you'd be hard pressed to beat The Mountain Tea House, at the base of Mount Canobolas, for an unpretentious, delicious lunch stop). 
 
I can comfortably accommodate up to 4 guests, with plenty of room in my 4WD for your wine and produce purchases.
